Sky Bear was a collaborative project between
Steve Rush and Coleen Rowe under the guidance of glassmaster Dru
Kristel. The form for Sky Bear was a reknowned wood sculpture
"Walks with Medicine"by Sweet Medicine Bear Studio.

Starmaker.
A light effects glass sculpture. "Drum" is 8" in diameter by 3-4"
deep. The Starmakers come in a lineage; they are all very similar
and each very different.

The "head" of the drum is made of hand-faceted
dalle glass, cast in polymer. Waves of iridized art glass fasten
the two heads together, each head can be used as the front of
the sculpture. The colors are in cobalt blues and violets. Bases
range from glossy black to silver leaf.

All of them create spectacular light effects
that can turn your room into an underwater cavern at night.
